Agree with you somewhat Big Tex…But it really doesn’t sound any more risky that what was said about Randy Moss before the 1998 Draft.
Not sure Jerry Jones ever forgave himself for not drafting him (although Greg Ellis was a solid player for a lot of years for Dallas). I still remember that Thankgiving Day Game in his rookie year when Moss massacred Dallas.
Doubt Bryant will fall that far, but Jerry probably wants to know more about Bryant JUST IN CASE.

I see a trade with the Dolphins where the teams switch picks and the Dolphins get an extra pick or two. It would be ideal. Bryant gets to stay a Cowboy and Parcells gets the extra picks he craves. Maybe he’s able to use one of those picks on D. Thomas.
Btw, Michael is a better receiver than Bryant and will probably be a better pro.

I’m sure Florio will have a full report on the menu… Anjelmanning… this is what makes PFT closer to a sewing bee then a newspaper. Its also what is killing the game we love, bringing it on the level of reality tv instead of sport.
All we ask is Florio reports fact. Commentary is fine, but it has made what he reports as “information from a league source” to be anything less then credible when it is peppered with his own feelings and viewpoints.

You all need to go back and watch the OSU vs. UGA tape from this past season. Dez Bryant won’t WOW you that much after you watch that game.
Dude is OK, red flags aside. And really what red flags? That he’s in w/ Deion who was acting as a sub-agent. What other red flags are there? Seriously? That he lied to try to save his skin. Sort of like the entire MLB on steroids or Kobe and Tiger on infidelity or the entire Cowboys in the 90′s on drugs. Everyone lies. So what red flags are there w/ this kid b/c I don’t ever remember him getting into any trouble at Ok. St. outside of the “Prime Time” fiasco.

Jerry Jones still can’t help himself. He still hasn’t learned anything from letting T.O. and Pacman Jones go. I realize that Roy Williams was a complete waste of a trade for the Cowboys (Jones just doesn’t want to admit it yet), but don’t they need oline more. Plus Bryant has T.O. the second written all over him. Apparently Jones thought that last year didn’t have enough drama for the Cowboys. Bryant also hangs out with Pacman Jones another player the Cowboys let go.

Plenty of questionable receivers have been drafted in the top ten that weren’t nearly as talented as Bryant. A 4.32 is fast enough for the Raiders, right?

Pretty funny Mr. Rosenthal…HOWEVER since there is a good chance both the #1 and #2 DT &OT prospects (the Raiders BIGGEST holes) might be gone by #8…Why not take take Bryant and try and add a DT or OT in round 2?
Javon Walker is gone, Chad Schilens was injured most of last year and DHB didn’t make much of an impact (as MANY have pointed out).
Louis Murphy had a solid rookie year, but he is just one WR (AND TE Zack Miller had TWICE as many receptions as Murphy).
Dez Bryant is big, fast, and a good special teams returner (something the Raiders were HORRIBLE at last year).
With the QB situation a MESS in Oakland, why not give whoever wins the QB job (Gratkowski, Russell, McNabb, Rosenfelds, etc, etc.) a legit #1 WR (which by the way DHB will probably NEVER be)?
Just because the Raiders selected DHB last year, don’t put it past Al Davis to take ANOTHER WR (especially one with Bryant’s athletic ablities).
Would rather the Raiders to trade down and add more picks (especially with the 2011 #1 already in the Pats possession), but could live with Bryant in Silver and Black.
