I am a huge Philly Fan and I want to keep McNabb as well, but Kolb is ready and thats what we drafted him for. Can’t keep a guy on the bench to long or he will lose his stuff. So everyone should just trust our Eagles Front Office to make the right choices. Hey, they always lead us to the playoffs so they have to be doing something right. = )

Did you ever think that McNabbs body of work speaks for itself? He has the highest TD to INT ratio in NFL history. He has 5 NFC Championship appearances. Multiple pro-bowls. Superbowls are won by the best team, not always the best QB. What are they going to say that they haven’t the past 10 years? What are they going to say negative about Kolb? You’re clearly someone who reads into the media way too much.

Who cares what he wants. I bet the owners are calling a meeting as I write this calling for all talks regarding moving McNabb ASAP.
Half these guys should worry about collecting some cash over the 2 to 3 years most will play before they bring in another bunch to take the place of them.
I want to go out with Raquel Welsh to, who cares. These guys really think they are something. You can tell by how they deal with the Law and how the NFL deals with them. And the NFL wonders why these clowns do not stop with the arrests, try doing something rather than slap the hand.

The Eagles have never in their history been consistent contenders until 1999 when Donavan and Reid came on the scene. Philadelphia is a great city, just not a great sports city unless you win (See Phillies). The 76ers and Eagles are consistent under-achievers, plain and simple.
So please, by all means, run the greatest QB in your franchise’s history out of town for Kevin Kolb.

I actually can’t wait for him to be moved. It adds a little spice to next season.I for one want to see if Kolb is the guy and I think some other form of hype about the Raiders instead of meat-head coaches,bloated QB’s,and a certain undead owner would be good for the entire league.
If said meat-head coach can squeeze 4 wins from this squad what do you think could happen if they had a real leader at the most important position.

Perhaps Weaver doesn’t realize that McNabb is one of the biggest reasons the Eagles have NOT won it all. A habitual choker – the bigger the game, the smaller he plays. Reid is no better, since he coaches not to lose. He is way too conservative in everything he says and does. As an organization, they never take a big swing, but a series of calculated risks that usually don’t pan out. So, doing something as risky as getting rid of McNabb to start the Kolb era , or even the post-McNabb era, is enough to give Reid a case of agita. Likely, he will do what he always does. Play it safe.
