In case it wasn’t already clear, Browns defensive tackle Shaun Rogers’ arrest on gun possession charges wasn’t a prank.
“We are aware of what transpired with Shaun Rogers,” Browns President Mike Holmgren said in a statement. “We will continue to gather additional information, and until the legal process has taken its course, we will reserve any further comment.”
According to Cleveland police, Rogers was found with a loaded 45 caliber handgun that was in his carry-on luggage. No charges have been filed yet.
