Packers have play the Cowgirls a number of times on T-Day.
I personally would love to see them play the night game because i’m tired of having to watch them play the 9am (Pacific time) game. It would actually be a game to look forward to while resting and digesting.

You already know the Monday night line-up. All these teams will have 2-3 Monday night games. Saint’s, Colts, Vikings, Packers, the overated Jets ,Giants for whatever reason. Actaully the already crowned 2010 media driven Super Bowl champs Chicago Bears will be in that mix also.

@hrmlss – So Favre is a Diva that makes a lot of money and I understand people are sick of him. The bottom line is that he can still play, and he GETS RATINGS. All the NFL sees is $$$.
But screw it – why don’t we just watch Jets Giants every week. Or how about Browns Seahawks on Monday night… Seneca Wallace against his former team??? Ratings Gold!!!!

Why can’t we have the Viking’s on ESPN Monday Night football EVERY week. Hell, Madden would come back for that. And they can get a whole team of Favre lovers who can gush non-stop about who loves him more. And they could get Wrangler , VISA, Sears, Vicodin and Nexium to do all the commercials. Then we could get a Brett fix even during commercials.

I hope the good Doctor is correct. That is a fine slate of games for Turkey Day.
My speculation is that the league had no idea that the J-E-T-S and the G-men had not reached an agreement on who would open the new digs and had to rescramble everything to arrive at a scheduling solution that soothed all the parties.
And I have no problem with Jets getting the first Monday night game. Maybe they’ll host Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Yeah, well I maintain my theory that the NFL is still dumbfounded at how their beloved Colts and Peyton Manning lost the Super Bowl.
So they are taking extra time to make sure they give the Colts as much advantage as possible over their opponents each week.
Oh, and they were probably holding out hope that Favre made an announcement before they scheduled he Vikings against the Saints for the season opener(or any other prime time games for that matter).
