As far as I know there’s no NFL rule against making an idiot out of yourself on Twitter. But if you’ve been reading my posts, I think there should be. But even if the NFL enacted that rule today, Goodell can’t retroactively suspend Holmes for violating it. So I don’t think I’ll be freaking out about the rules.
I won’t have a problem with either Ben or Santonio being suspended if they convicted of a crime. So far that hasn’t happened.

I cant help but laugh at this comment. Not because it is a dumb comment, and not because I disagree, I actually think its a smart comment. But the thing that makes me laugh, is hat you have to keep it in perspective.
Just days ago, Joey Porter got into an altercation with a police officer, and EVERY Peezy supporter on the planet acts like every cop is crooked, and you cant trust everything that is in the police report.
Now, we are referring to the police report, as if no police report has EVER been wrong, because no cop would ever lie on a police report……
So it is all a matter of which side you want to take. If you believe Holmes is innocent, you are going to cite the police report. If you think that he is guilty, you are going to act as if no police report can be trusted……

This isn’t a legendary franchise under heat.
Under heat is when your franchise is about to be sold and moved to another city, given a new name and logo–never to exist again.
Under heat is when we lost the first two games of the 1989 season to the Browns and Bengals by a combined score of 92-10.
Under heat is going 40 years without winning a single playoff game, then winning four Super Bowls in six years … and going 26 years before winning another one.
This is a silly receiver who may or may not have thrown a drink at a money-grubbing girl who was rubbing all over him five minutes later in view of the cops who dropped the whole thing.
This is a QB being sued in Nevada–where all the evidence so far supports HIM–and accused in Georgia of some act the police haven’t even specified. He’s never been charged with anything.
This isn’t heat.
Keep it in perspective.

I havent been up to date on every twist to this story, but, didnt the woman drop the criminal charges, because Holmes”settled” with her out of court?
If he settled, why would he give her any money, if he was 100% innocent of the charges????
Sounds to me like he is guilty, and stupidly, he cut a deal to pay her to not press criminal charges. So she took the money, and then filed civil charges…Genius on her part, par for the course on his part
