If you had read the article a little more thoroughly and understood it’s meaning, you’d have seen that it was no big deal.
The games for the Cowboys and Chiefs have gone from one local station to the other and it didn’t always take .00002 seconds to get a new deal when the old one expired, as some people might think. My guess is that with the economy like it is, the locals are looking to spend as much as they did in the previous deal and for a long term ocmmitment at that price. The Vikings just had their deal expire at the wrong time. Let’s not forget that the NFL extended their TV contracts and got little or nothing in terms of extra money bcause of the economy.

But you could. It’s stunning to me that there’s a team in the league that doesn’t have a TV contract for its preseason games at this point.

I think it’s sad that you think that preseason games are so important that you have to watch them. You can get a good idea as to what happened on the news, if you want to watch anyone of importance. Hell, by the late third quarter, you’re watching guys who won’t even be around for the last practtice.
We get the Cowboys and the Chiefs and I don’t think I’ve watched 3 quarters of combined action for these clubs in any preseason.

please pay attention to whats going on someone will move up for clausen Greg must still be listening to McShay. At the least there are 4 teams in the top ten that need a qb with two others maybe needing one. They will get phone calls just depends if they take it

The only reason people attend viking preseaon games is because those buying Bear and Packer regular season game tickets are requirerd to buy a preseason game ticket.
There is a lack of demand for vikling games in the Twin Cities market that the NFL should address by moving the franchise to a more supportive location.

Manning vs. Rodgers is nice but the Colts playing in Canada in the pre-season has to be the story of the offseason. Manning’s first visit to Canada? Oh my God I can’t wait for it. I am gonna watch at least 2, maybe even 3 highlights from this game. I might even watch 4!

At this point, why would they?
The funny thing is, if they did, you’d be ALL OVER THEM for slighting him last season and then extending the olive branch.
The FACT is, at this point, Campbell has already been “slighted”, so the team has no incentive to make a deal now. Let him play another year, and if he finally looks like a franchise QB…Snyder will pay the man. Not like these other cheap owners who will nickel and dime someone even after they’ve proven themselves.

I wouldn’t be too quick to doubt Killer. He was the first person I heard say that Bradford would likely be the first pick overall. He was a good week or week and a half ahead of that Schefter guy claiming it.
Killer has his sources and knows his stuff.
