The Cowboys were right. Flozell Adams wasn’t worth $7.5 million in 2010.
The long-time starting left tackle shouldn’t struggle to find a job, though. Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram writes that Adams’ agent has already been contacted by three teams.
Adams figures to remain a starter. We don’t think his decline as a player has been nearly as rapid as that of Orlando Pace, who the Bears overpaid a year ago. Unlike Pace, Adams is remarkably durable. He’s started 16 games every season but one since 1999.
We have no idea who the three interested teams are. Some logical suitors that could use help at left tackle include the Cardinals, Raiders, and Bills. Let us know if you want The Hotel opening in your town.
