Keith Brooking not impressed with Eagles’ offense

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Keith Brooking has plenty to say about opposing offenses.

In January, Brooking said the Minnesota Vikings’ decision to keep passing while way ahead of the Cowboys in the fourth quarter was “classless” and “B.S.” And now Brooking is critiquing the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense.

Asked what he thinks about the Eagles shopping quarterback Donovan McNabb, Brooking suggested that Eagles head coach Andy Reid and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg are more to blame than McNabb for the Eagles’ struggles.

“The way we dominated them, obviously McNabb didn’t play his best, but they were very predictable,” Brooking said on ESPN Radio in Dallas, per Matt Mosley of ESPN.com. “We knew exactly what was coming on every play. A lot of that didn’t have to do with Donovan McNabb.”

Brooking added that he doesn’t think McNabb has been given enough credit for what he’s done in Philadelphia.

“Now, that [Kevin] Kolb kid may end up winning three or four Super Bowls for that city,” Brooking said. “I can’t predict that. But Donovan McNabb, his body of work and what he’s done for that franchise, there’s not a lot of guys who come into this league who have played as long as he has and can say they’ve accomplished what he’s accomplished.”
