Florio told you earlier that Alex Brown would make his first free agent visit Tuesday.
Now we can tell you -- via Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune -- that Brown is headed to New Orleans for a visit with the defending Super Bowl champs.
New Orleans has been very quiet in free agency due to the uncapped year, but they re-signed restricted free agent Anthony Hargrove Monday. Brown makes for a logical veteran replacement for Charles Grant at defensive end.
Biggs also writes that the Panthers and Bucs are “believed to have interest” in Brown.
