Kolb a better option than McNabb in fantasy football

Let’s start this way: Kevin Kolb is not the next Aaron Rodgers.  Donovan McNabb is not the next Drew Bledsoe.

Figuring out what Kolb and McNabb will be next
year will be a major question to answer as we start to prepare
for 2010 fantasy drafts.

The short version: They aren’t so different as
fantasy properties, but I’d take Kolb.

Sports emmy nominee Tiffany Simons has the hosting honors . . .

Whats that mean? You dont think Kolb can be as good as Rodgers. Or does it mean you think Kolb can win in the playoffs because Rodgers cant?
Before Rodgers got to start no one knew what he was capable of. He was just a high round draft pick who sat on a bench behind a probowl qb for 3 years. So how can you talk about what Kolb will or wont be. He is in the exact same position Rodgers was in when he started. Except Kolb right now is more proven the Rodgers was before he took over the starting job.
The Year Before Rodgers got the starting job in 2 games his stats were:
    20-28 218 yards 1 td 0 ints
The year before Kolb got the starting job in 2 games his stats were:
    62-96 741 yards 4 td 3 ints
Im not putting down Aaron Rodgers I think hes great Im just saying you cant make assumptions that Kolb will never be as good as him or even better then him when theres nothing to back it up.

Yeah id hit that too… But no way did that dude hit that unless he litterally hit her with something like his text book or something by accident! She’s gotta have higher standards than that guy.

Kolb gets his shot and until he plays a full season nobody knows what or how he will react, but i can tell you this if he sucks all hell will break loose in Reid’s ASS!!!

Let’s see Kolb gets Brent Celek, DeSean Jacskon, Jeremy Maclin as his top options and has a good O-Line.
McNabb gets Chris Cooley, Santana Moss, and Devin Thomas and no O-Line.
Choice is easy IMHO. Although I will admit McNabb has made a career out of throwing to nobody.

Aaron Rogders is a cry baby who cannot win the big game
THAT WILL BE HIS CAREER LABEL.
he is finished in this league

McNabb had 6 good games last year. Eagles won 11…but that was against 11 teams that were under.500. Hmmm, What does that Mean??? The Eagles played Horrible last year!!! Kevin will prove to be a better QB then Donovan in the Next 3 years.

Kolb had 2 good games against pathetic defenses. He will be a scrub. Those front-running Philly fans, like Lowell Rikert, will regret losing mcnabb.

Kolb – passing offense, bad defense, solid weapons
McNabb – running offense, mediocre defense, decent weapons
Take Kolb every time, Reid throws way too much. What am I missing? Fantasy ‘good’ is not directly related to NFL ‘good’.
McNabb does well against sub-500 teams, blows against teams over 500. He’s a good spot starter based on this fact.

Rogers handled the year-after-year-after-year Favre fiasco with total class. “Crybaby”? Where do you get that??
I agree Tiffany Simons is a welcome addition to the PFT broadcasting stable ;)
