Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com addressed earlier today an issue that several of you have raised, and that I’ve been too lazy to address.
Per Seifert, the Vikings’ lease at the Metrodome expires after the 2011, regardless of whether there’s a work stoppage in 2011.
A source reading from the lease told Seifert that it expires on February 1, 2012.
So the Vikings become stadium free agents in 2012, regardless of whether the team plays 10 more games at the Metrodome or 24 more games or some number in between.
