Wide receiver Dez Bryant has already visited seven teams this month, and he has three more visits set for this week. But he won’t be visiting the Cleveland Browns.
A source close to the Browns told Peter King of SI.com that Bryant had been scheduled to visit Cleveland on Wednesday. Now? Not.
“He’s no longer on our list,” the source told King. “He’s not visiting us.’'
King also writes that the Browns would rather take guys without question marks on their resumes, and that’s why Bryant apparently won’t be going to Cleveland.
A year ago, the Browns reportedly soured on wide receiver Michael Crabtree because he showed a “diva attitude” during a visit to Cleveland. Although the Browns have shaken up their front office since then, they apparently haven’t changed what they’re looking for in a wide receiver.
