Dez Bryant will visit the Broncos

On the same day that the Denver Broncos laid the foundation for a possible trade of troubled receiver Brandon Marshall, word has emerged that they plan to visit with another troubled receiver in advance of the draft.

Per Josina Anderson of FOX 31, Dez Bryant is due to visit the team on Wednesday.

Peter King of SI.com recently reports that Bryant will visit the Rams, 49ers, and Broncos this week.  On Tuesday, Bryant was in St. Louis, which could potentially pick Bryant if they trade out of the top spot.

The Broncos hold the 11th overall pick in the draft.  Though at some point there was a belief that Bryant’s admitted lie to the NCAA and reports of tardiness could cause him to plunge to the bottom of round one or farther, he’s making a late push up, buoyed by a recognition by an increasing number of scouts that he has never gotten in trouble with the law despite a difficult upbringing.

At the same time, teams like the Browns at No. 7 and the Jaguars at No. 10 reportedly have removed Bryant from their draft boards.

I like how players move up and down, or race up or fall down in the draft when no one really knows when any player is going to be picked until he is picked.
Its all guess until it happens.

Seriously? McDaniels would rather trade a 3 year 100 catch pro bowl receiver who has had a little trouble, and who is not even in his prime yet and get an unproven rookie who had a terrrrrrrible pro day and has off the field issues too. I would just give Marshall the F’n $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Give him a big contract and he will right the ship, I guarantee it. McDaniels seems to be a good coach, but he is a horrible GM.

In the bizarro world of Hoodie, Jr., up is down, right is left, Brandon Marshall is a bad guy, Dez Bryant is gonna cost you $30 million, minimum and you’ll have to remind him to bring his cleats.
As a Bronco fan, it pains me no end to see the bad moves this franchise is making. Good luck, Josh. A.N.F.W.

Oh that is smart possibly trade away a talented but troubled receiver who has proven to be effective on field only to draft another one that hasn’t proven himself on the NFL level. Not to mention this guy doesn’t have the size or speed of Marshall either.

One short visit and he is off the short list.
Just setting up the #11 trade-down for those teams that still think he is an NFL player.

Oh dear God, the Broncos are five years away from a playoff win. One step forward-two steps back.
Making the Pro Bowl is the kiss of death in Donkey town.

Wife-beater Marshall is one McDonald’s bag away from a half-season suspension. His undeniable talent is overshadowed by his boorish behavior and childish demeanor. You can’t fix stupid. Get him out of town ASAP unless he will sign a long-term deal packed with behavior clauses, performance incentives and iron-clad protection for the Broncos.

No Florio, the Rams aren’t looking at Bryant incase they trade out of the top spot. They are looking at him incase he falls to them in the second round (or a ‘reasonable’ trade up from the 2nd round – a couple of spots). Due diligince incase the long shot happens.

“Farther” is not a word , dumbass. It’s “Further”. Check your grammar, dummy.
