Anthony Montgomery signs tender with Redskins

Restricted free agent defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery has signed his tender with the Washington Redskins.

A league source tells PFT’s Mike Florio that Montgomery signed the tender today.

Montgomery was a fifth-round draft pick of the Redskins in 2006 out of Minnesota and was tendered at the original round level. His best season came in 2007, when he started 15 games. In 2009 he played in seven games without any starts.

Montgomery recently participated in the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
