Redskins G.M. Bruce Allen will soon be adding a familiar face to his defensive line rotation.
Chris Russell of 106.7 in D.C. reports the Redskins will soon sign former Bucs DE Greg Peterson. The fourth-year player spent 2009 with Jacksonville, and was inactive most weeks.
He’ll compete for a spot on the Redskins roster, but will hardly be a lock to make the team.

Just like his father.
I don’t know how I feel about all of these former bucs player’s and older player’s period being on the Skins.
Where’s the news about TO to the Redskins?
Can he play Right Tackle??
HOLY CRAP GREG PETERSON!
whos greg peterson?
WHAT?
For those that don’t know, Greg Peterson is about 6’5 290 and ran in the low 4.7s when he came out of college at Coastal Carolina, I think he was a teammate of Tyler Thigpen for a sesaon or two. In his rookie season he got a few snaps early on in the season with the Bucs and looked good but then was inactive most of the rest of the season. He kind of fell out of favor the following season and then last season he had an injury to start camp and he was waived/injured.
He has a ton of athletic ability but has never been able to turn that into production. He will be a DE for the Redskins, though the Bucs used him mostly as a DT when they ran the T-2 his first two seasons.
He never played with Thigpen, and did not go to Coastal
Wikipedia says he played for North Carolina Central University.
LOL….Bruce Allen is such a joke…seriously, the worst G.M. in the NFL…
