As a die-hard Browns fan, I wish they had held onto Gradkowski at the beginning of the 2009 season. He was picked up off of waivers after injuries to QB’s Quinn and Anderson and then thrown to wolves by then-coach Crennel for mop-up duty the last 2 games of the 2008 season with zero knowledge of the Browns offense. Predictably he did not do too well. Mangini released him when he took over in 2009.
I was impressed by the job he did for the Raiders (Raiders beating the Steelers in week 13 and helping knock them out of the playoffs was especially sweet, I was LMAO). Given a chance I think he would have done better than Quinn/Anderson. I think that Bruce will compete with Boller for the starting QB job at Oakland.
As far as JaMarcuss Russell goes………….well I’ll let the Raider faithful fill in the blanks!

The Raiders need to get Jason Campbell! The young man has had 4 different systems and played good enough considering the circumstances. He would be great under Hughe Jackson! I’m so disapointed in Russell that it would be a miracle if he did anything positive next season. Make a move Raiders!

A common injury when you are juicing.
This is compounded by the stupid body-building exercises, versus stength training exercises that the Raiders were seen doing on the photos of their Voluntary Camps.
In fact, there is photo of Bruce doing one of those stupid Hammer Strength machines, which are purely for the purpose of building inflated chesticles of highly dubious functional utility.
These players should be doing O lifting, squats, ring work. That plus the massive amount of exogenous hormones will result in less of these types of injuries.
This is a major disappointment for Gradkowski, he’ll be out for the year, and may even be cut. He may never get this opportunity to compete for a starting position again.

this is got to be florio, he must of been so happy when he heard this. Because he is still so sad that the bruce destroyed his steelers and took them out of the playoffs. Bruce will be ready for opening day and he will be ready for the bigest turn around in NFL history. THE BRUCE WILL BE THE SUPERBOWL MVP
