Let me see…
1) Ben exposes his penis to the woman and other witnesses standing in the VIP room and hallway. That is Indecent Exposure. A crime in PA.
2) Ben totally ignores the woman’s “No, this is not right!” plea and forces her to have sex with him. That is Rape. A crime in PA.
3) Ben’s police officer friend, Jerry Blash, sabotages the investigation before it begins by casting aspersions on the victim. That’s Obstruction of Justice. A crime in PA.
4) The Rooneys are “shaken” by Ben’s criminal activity, but won’t take action. To me, they appear to be covering for Ben. That’s Accessory After the Fact. A crime in PA.
So what do we have here? It would seem four seperate crimes have been committed in PA. and not a single person is being held accountable or charged.
Some law abiding franchise the Rooneys own.

Dude you need to understand something, this crowd on the board isn’t necessarily bashing the Steelers… they are bashing BEN! If Ben survives this we all should look to his enablers, The Rooney’s, the Commissioner, his parents and the bodyguards, to explain how they can condone a star football player aggressively and forcing a young woman to have sex with him. The reports that the prosecutor has are damning and this is not the first time. Sad but true but we are through . . . with the Steelers until they do the right thing. Send Ben away and do it soon!

After reading excerpts from the police reports – I truly believe that Ben “TAKE THE PUSSY” Rothlisberger raped that young woman. I also believe he belongs in jail and out of the NFL totally. If we can send Michael Vick to jail for abusing dogs then certainly what Rothlisberger did is far worse. I used to have a good opinion of him even though I wasn’t a Steeler’s fan. Now I think he is just a P-O-S. He belongs in jail where any other rapist would be. Payoffs just seem to cement the facts that he knew what he did was wrong. The Pennsylvania State Police need to investigate the officer that was his bodyguard and bring him up on charges also if the facts indicate the he aided and abetted the rape of that young woman. This just makes my skin crawl.
Everybody on this site knows BIG BEN “TAKE THE PU$$Y” ROETHLISBURGERwill not go to jail EVEN if he did it, because it’s her word against his and Ben is in the “GOOD OLD BOYS CLUB”. You don’t get that media courtesy unless you’re in that club and it is obvious two times in a row he is. Just boys being boys. (B*LLSH!T!!) Just boys being Pepe Le Pew!!!!! Taking Pu$$%. The Media and police are giving him time to get her payed off no doubt. The Rooney’s will put something in the pot too. The Rooney’s are “RAPIST” enablers for keeping Ben and helping him beat rape cases.

Alright, I thought that trading McNabb was crazy. If Pittsburgh gets rid of Roethlisberger, I’ll think that the entire state of Pennsylvania either doesn’t know anything about football or they all just went stupid over the course of this off season. Roethlisberger IS the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise. They said so by sinking a $100+ million contract into his pocket. If they trade this guy I hope it comes back to bite them in the ass like 50 times over.

26 years…26 years I waited for my Steelers to win another SB. Let me remind Steelers fans of some of the horrible QB’s we’ve suffered through: Mark Malone, Bubby Brister, Kordell Stewart, Jim Miller, Tommy Maddox. Enough said! Big Ben hasn’t been found guilty of anything. Except maybe making terrible decisions, and putting himself in some less than desirable situations. So lets not get on the “get him out of town wagon” just yet. Again…26 years…I’ll take the two SB rings the team has won with him at QB over an higher moral authority. Its not even close.

Even though I live on the west coast and have had to endure being a raider fan, I have always held the Steelers and the ownership in high esteem but that has changed since the BR situation. The Rooneys need to disavow themselves from that creep. Since they have been silent indicates that they are no different then the Al Davis of the world which is very sad!!

This is complete BS. I live in Pittsburgh and I can’t believe how people are acting around here. He wasn’t charged with anything! Everyone is acting like he has been found to be a serial rapist or worse a murderer like Ray Lewis. All I hear are older people and parents calling in to radio stations asking questions like “what do I tell my daughter?” and “what kind of person does this?” All he did was bang/hook up with random women; dumb BUT THATS IT. This happens every weekend on the Southside of Pittsburgh or any other town that has a string of bars together. I have been pulled by/and pulled a women into a bathroom before and things have gone down. I’m not a horrible person; I was in my twenties and acting irresponsible under the influence of alcohol and to answer one of those questions thats the kind of person that does this. I’m sure if I was the face of a sports organization and had millions in the bank at twenty eight women would come forward looking for a quick buck also. He didn’t strangle or rape like people are acting, nothing was against someone’s will. The truth is, the media and city has had a silent (and not so silent at times) hate for Ben and deservingly so for how he has treated them and the city in the past. So now he made a mistake and everyone sees the opportunity to “set him straight” or judge him like a bunch of clicky high schoolers. I’m sure we will all be cheering and booing him based on his play next year like any other year. Life goes on, and all you that feel like his actions took money from your paycheck will quickly get over it and find the next thing that disrupts your apparent perfect lives.
P.s. Tell your daughters and sons the truth. Tell them what happened. I’m sure they aren’t retarded (unless that is they were born in Baltimore, Cleveland, or Cincinnati) and can handle it.
