It’s even more disturbing that two “bodyguards”–off duty police officers no less–acted as pimp goons in this manner. They grabbed the girl and took her to the private room. They refused to allow friends to intervene. They refused to answer questions.What a great representation of “law enforcement” for our region.
Rooney failed to satisfactorily answer why Holmes was given away and Roethlisberger, who undoubtedly assaulted this woman, is allowed to “win back his team.” How can this situation be called even handed?
At the end of the day, I am a fan of the Steelers football team–on the field. But when it comes to the real world, it’s clear that individuals like Ben are human trash.
I just want to live long enough to see a young woman’s dad or boyfriend come into the picture to exact real justice—a broken leg here, some fractured skulls there–to people like Ben and his “bodyguards.”
