I agree, why trade him now after everyone keeps saying he’s not a number one reciever and we finally pick one up? Why not move him to 2nd or 3rd reciever and he’s still one of the better return man in the game? Is it cause of his salary?

Is this punishment for him being a 1st round bust? If I were a Phins fan, I would rather keep him for his return skills and at least see how he does as a number 2 with Marshall on board. Honestly, you think you’re gonna get a better player in the 5th round? At best it will be a wash.

I think this was a good gamble by the 49ers. Lets just say – he doesn’t have the greatest hands, his YAK is lousy and he loves the sidelines, but we have to agree he’s fast. What this does is loosens up the defense. Defenses will have to put their quickest CB on him, and than probably have a Safety cover. That opens up things for Crabtree and Davis. Even as a decoy he’s worth a 5th rounder, and he can return – maybe not a stud returner, but better than they had. I say good job 49ers and for a 5th pick, that’s a bit of a steal. The 49ers would punish the Tuna-Fins – are they on the schedule?

as crazy as this may sound i think it’s a mistake on miami’s part to get rid of ginn his value on special teams alone is more than a 5th rounder or atleast equel to it and with a true #1 wr like marshall on the other side( who will command double coverage) ginn’s speed could be used for big plays here & there and i feel sanfran has somthing similar in mind with ginn being oppisite mike crabtree this coming year

i guess we can all now see what he is able to do[outside a lame gimmicky,boring offense],now all the phins fans start the blasting after this guy single handley beat the jets in one game and made a great run and catch past the best db on that same jets team,he was never being used properly,and now with him going up top with crabs working the middle,i see big things for the guy. now with that,i never really saw him as first round talent anywasys,but nevertheless he did and still does have a huge upside,cant teach speed,congrats 49ers,i can see that offense finishing alot higher this season

Im so sick oh hearing all the proffesional football coaches/ scouts on here. Sure Ginn was drafted to high but who the hell wants to play your ass off in college football to hopefully make to the pro to hopefully that they won’t expect to much of you. It’s like saying you kinda suck but you can still play in the NFL? PLAIN and simple that man couldnt catch a cold swimmin nude in the ant-artic! Take it from a phins fan! JESUS!!!

I think its a great move by fins and a dumb move by SF. 49ers could get a return guy with the 5th rd pick. For a lot cheaper too. Whatever is left on Ginns 1st rd pick contract will be more than what a younger, with more upside 5th rd pick would cost. He WILL NOT unseat any of the 4 wrs they have now, he sucks at WR ask any dolphins fan. Since most 49ers fans have no clue about their team heres your wrs, Crabtree, Josh Morgan, Brandon Jones, Jason Hill, and Dominique Zeigler. They just overpaid for a guy that will only be a return man.
