Your AFC North team needs are here

Mike Holmgren’s rebuilding project in Cleveland won’t be easy.

He’s stuck in a division with two of the most consistent franchises in the AFC (Pittsburgh, Baltimore) and a Bengals team that should have more staying power than people think.

The bright side for Holmgren is that he doesn’t have to draft for need.  The Browns need help everywhere, and should just take the best player available.

Still, we had to rank the Browns’ needs because that’s what we do here. Check out their biggest problem areas in addition to the rest of the AFC North right here.

Can they change their uniforms? For Christ’s sake the Bengals changed there’s from crap to shit and the Ravens think they have the best. Pittsburgh is old and should try to find something that doesn’t involve exposing your “Jimmy”.

Come September, Holmgren may only have to worry about the feared Ravens if thing in Pittsburgh go like I think they’re going to. The Bengals are making a name for themselves as shown by last season, but I don’t think they’re quiiite there yet.

Every single soul outside of Pittsburgh realizes that they’re a franchise on the decline. It has nothing to do with the thugs and rapists they employ, it’s just obvious that the other teams in the division are improving, while they’ve did nothing but get significantly worse.
Can we please stop pretending that they’re a contender still? It’s between the Bengals and the Ravens, and to be honest with you, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Browns end up taking 3rd in the division. You watch.

Seems simple enough for the Bengals… Jermaine Gresham (if he can block a blitz), Taylor Mays (yeah let’s just draft ALL those Trojans), or the usual first round flyer off the cliff and they take Dez Bryant.
Holmgren doesn’t have enough picks to rebuild the Browns in the next few years, the last thing they need is to trade more picks away. Take Kindle or McClain, wait for McCoy or Pike later, and turn off the phone on draft day. Ravens are getting old, they need fresh defensive faces, but won’t be much left at that position by their 1st round pick… maybe an OL there, Iupati? Steelers need to draft a lawyer.

The Boldin should trade make the Ravens favored over Cincy. (Both teams have cool uniforms).
Browns and Steelers compete for a 5 or 6 win 3rd place finish (and NFL’s ugliest uniform).

…and just who is that Baltimore team that is sooo consistent? Oh yeah, the REAL Cleveland Browns, including a Browns legend as their GM. (No anger here..)
