Allen fine with Haynesworth's absence

Albert Haynesworth isn’t at Redskins minicamp this weekend, and doesn’t plan to show up for any voluntary work all offseason.

Redskins G.M. Bruce Allen says he’s not disappointed since the workouts are voluntary, according to Jason Reid of the Washington Post.

Allen knows there’s nothing to be gained by publicly calling Haynesworth out.  The $100 million man who doesn’t want to play defensive tackle reportedly hopes to be traded during the draft. The Redskins would presumably love to move him after trying to deal Haynesworth earlier this offseason.

Allen spoke about trade discussions for his available players generally: “We’ve had some talks with different people who are trying to trade some
players,” Allen said. “But I don’t know what’ll happen.”

Albert Haynesworth and his brood are checking out elegant domiciles in the great state of Georgia [;)], where the nuts n’ sluts are DTF 7 days a week (though this has nothing to do with Mr. H. himself, just mentionin’).

It isn’t “defensive tackle” he doesn’t want to play, it’s nose tackle.

Allen is fine with it because Haynesworth’s absence halves the food budget.

For $100,000,000.00 I’d kiss Dan Snyder’s ass every day.
Fat Al can’t get out of bed or be bothered with practice and learning where he should line up in the new scheme.
Dan Snyder, cut Fat Al and hire me!

If they can move Albert for a couple of draft picks to replace what they gave up for McNabb, I’d be ecstatic. That would be a huge help toward bolstering the O line.

I hope the Bucs stay the heck away from him.

Allen is fine with it because he knows that some team out there will be dumber than Washington and trade for him.
When the NFL stops paying these slugs, the league would get better.
