That is because MNF is no longer the marquee weekly game. Sunday Night Football is the game of the week and has first choice. MNF has a quoto of teams that need to be showed.

Wait, so football isnt played in April? The way all of these haters are acting I could have sworn the NFL started the regular season this week.
For Steeler Nation — we will be fine. We added a lot of nice depth this off season even before one of the deepest drafts ever. I think the front office will make 1 more FA move and that is to bring back Leftwich. Tomlin loved him and he played a perfect role as emergency #2 QB in 08′. They always have 4 QB’s in camp and this year they will need additional help with Ben being out at least 2-4 games. Batch is basically just a coach now anyways so he doesnt care. Ben/ Dixon/ Leftwich is best QB trio in the league.

I haven’t read anything but this HAS TO BE FAKE. It says they HOST the ravens twice and adding up the matchups the game vs NO would be on the week of Nov 7, not Oct. 31

The schedule should now be prima facie evidence No. 1 that the reason for the delay in the schedule is that the commissioner had to reconfigure the schedule based on Ben Roethlisberger. The fact that the Steelers do not have a primetime game in the first 7 weeks is unprecedented. The Steelers bring more viewers than any other team in the league and the NFL has a history of building momentum with the Steelers.
For example:
2009 2 of 4 Sunday/Thurs night games in the first 4 weeks.
2008 3 of 5 Sunday/Mon night games in the first 5 weeks
2007 1 of 7 Sunday night game in first 7 weeks
2006
2006 3 of 5 Thurs/Sun./Mon night games in first 5 weeks.

Wow the post gazette cannot spell Cincinnati… It seems a little unfair the Steelers are getting 5 prime time games too (after a horrible last year and all the off field problems)…Well at least the league got it right by pinning Cincinnati and Baltimore against each other in the final game of the year seeing it will be the most meaningful game within the division..

The Balt game in Dec on Sunday night is at Balt. Balt does not want to play in pitt in primetime. Steelers def will destroy Atl, Tenn TB and hold Balt in a low scoring game. If Dixon can take balt to OT in balt last year 3-1 or 4-0 is a great possibility, with that def!
