There really seem to be a large number of potential “grudge match” games on this schedule:
9/19 – Shannahan faces the Texans that he spurned
9/26 – Carriker faces the Rams that traded him for my leftover meatloaf
10/3 – Byron Westbook faces the Eagles who cut his brother (kidding, kidding…the McNabb game)
    11/15 – McNabb/Eagles again
11/21 – Possibly Haynesworth facing his old team
That’s a lot of potential bad blood! Anyone else see others?

This means another week 17 Eagles-Cowboys matchup, if all week 17 games are divisional.

Ouch! Other than the Rams, Bucs, and Lions (who beat us last year) this schedule looks brutal.

This schedule also means Dallas plays Philly in the final game of the season for the third time in a row.

Well, don’t you know that the NFC East is the best division in football? Just ask anyone in the “national” media!
And if you need proof, just look at all those Super Bowl championships the NFC East has won in the last 15 years!

Kolb first game as full time starter in Philly is against one of the best defenses in the league. I can hear the Philly fans booing already. Demarcus Ware is going to be in his ass all game long.

It has nothing to do with right coast bias. It has to do with the fact that the ‘Skins have a new two-time Super Bowl winning coach heading into the single best rivalry in football, and second only to Yankees-Red Sox in sports. I’m in California, and I’m tickled to death I get to see it. What a great way to start the season!

“This schedule will usher in the return of THE Washington Redskins to prominence once again!!!!!!!”
    Uh huh.
    “New coaching staff”
Retread. The 7th head coach the Deadskins have had since Snyder bought the team. Not only will this guy fail like the rest, he’s never even going to be considered the best coach that failed in DC since Snyder bought the team.
    “….new QB”
    “….new attitude….”
    Same old problems.
    “WE’RE BACK BABY!!!! WE’RE BACK!!!!”
It is the off-season, after all.
