Once again a lot of sh*t talking from a team that made the playoff b/c of Colts laying down for them. Now all of a sudden they are the leagues main attraction. A lot of veteran (some past their prime) picks don’t make you marquee. Can’t wait for the cookie to crumble.

Does anyone remember when Derek Anderson led the Browns to the playoffs, barely. They were supposed to be the next up and coming team so they ended up with like 4 prime time games… yeah, that got ugly.

Say what you want about the Jets backing into the playoffs, but once they got there, they beat two legitimate teams. Many people picked the Chargers as Super Bowl Champions . . plus, in the regular season they lost 5 games by 5 points or less, while having the some of the worst QB play in the league. If Sanchez improves at all and Cromartie can give them anything, they’ll be dangerous.

I don’t hate the Jets because of their coach, or because the beat my Chargers. I hate them because Rex Ryan is a douche… everyone can see that except for the Jets fans- and that is because they managed to somehow make it to the AFCCC last year. If they’d of missed the playoffs like they “deserved”, nobody would be talking about this jerk or this team.
And if people REALLY think adding Cro, LT, and Taylor to this squad BETTERS them, ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. LMFAO.

There’s at least 84 primetime slots – you take out the Bills, Browns, Rams and Raiders that leaves an average of 3 slots per team.
The schedule makes sense and despite what Rex Ryan thinks, getting handed a couple slots that the Jags or Chiefs didn’t deserve isn’t really that much of a pat on the back from the league. In fact I wish they were locked in for a guaranteed 8 games. Love watching a good trainwreck.
I still can’t get over him accepting his team was out of the playoffs last year. What a dumbass.

People do not only hate good teams. While it is true that good teams that are dominant tend to get hated, they also hate teams that show things like over inflated egos and lack of class. The Jets have not shown the first and have the second and third in abundance.
Ryan has somehow managed to surround himself with players that have egos every bit as big as his. This will NOT end well. He has no self discipline, and has no intention on reigning in his players. When things go badly this team will fall on each other like a wolf pack that smells a wounded deer.
This is gonna be great TV entertainment, which is what the NFL is becoming anyways. The Jets will start by making statements that make you think they feel the NFL should just hand them the lombardi. Then they will do okay, and proclaim their dominance over the NFL, MBL, NBA, and WWE. Then they will start losing. They will fall over each other, blaming each other, the coach, and the refs for their losses. Then they will win a game or two, and start proclaiming that they are back and will go all the way, and that no one can stop them. Then they lose against the next good team they face and spiral down into nothing.
However the sound bytes will keep us entertained all season long!

The jests will not sneak up anyone this year. The more they talk smack, the more teams will rev it up to smash them. I see alot of “after the whistle squirmishes” and cheap shots commin’

The Jets will be the biggest bust of the 2010 season. They have went the way of the Danny Snyder Skins, signing players with “names” who are on the downside of their careers plus signing players with bigtime baggage…..their lockerroom will implode by mid season. Has everyone forgot that the Bengals and Colts allowed the Jets to make the playoffs last year……and sure, they won a game in San Diego (perennial playoff chokers) but the Jets didn’t derserve the playoffs last year and they won’t make it this year.
