Former Bengal Chris Perry arrested

Former Cincinnati Bengals first-round draft pick Chris Perry was arrested on Wednesday in Brooklyn.

TMZ reports that police say Perry got in a fist fight with a family member. According to the report, Perry was arrested in his grandmother’s home after he was accused of hitting his cousin in the face after an argument.

The Bengals took Perry out of Michigan with the 26th overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft. He gained just 606 yards as a Bengal and was cut before the start of the 2009 season.

Perry was drafted by the UFL’s Florida Tuskers and didn’t play in the NFL last year, although the Jets did take a look at him in December.
