An hour after we heard the rumor that the Vikings are in hot pursuit of Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, a report out of Minnesota says a deal is not going to happen.
Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune reports, citing unnamed NFL sources, that Haynesworth will not be a Viking.
Zulgad previously passed along a report from ESPN’s John Clayton that the Vikings contacted the Redskins about acquiring Haynesworth.
But apparently the Vikings’ pursuit of Haynesworth will fall short of a deal being reached.
Too bad. Haynesworth would have been a real bone-breaker against Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
Good, Haynesworth SUCKS, what a waste of 100 million.
Clayton joins the line of false reporting by ESPN!!!
Will you just sit back and enjoy the show please?
How many of these rumors have been reported then debunked? All of them? And is the debunking a head fake?
well it was a fun thought for an hour. Then again, do you trust Clayton’s sources or Zulgad’s?
The traffic cops in Minneapolis, Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler and Matt Stafford all just breathed a sigh of relief.
Guess the Queens couldn’t get another left over. Too bad, fat Albert is useless too.
DANG!!! Almost had’em fooled! Shucks Dannyboy! Too bad.
You cant believe ANYTHING you hear or read today.
Hey guys just to change things up and keep everyone interested, how about leading with the retraction story BEFORE you give us the rumor story and the “mixed messages” story next time? I think that would be kind of fun.
