One Brown in, another Brown could be out in New Orleans

With Saints tackle Jammal Brown reportedly on the trading block, the Saints picked up more offensive tackle depth to end the second round.

USC tackle Charles Brown was viewed as a possible first-round pick by many, but wound up being the eighth player at his position taken.  He reportedly slid in the draft because of medical concerns regarding a hamstring injury.

The former tight end also may take time to develop, but the Saints have been excellent at developing linemen.  Now they’re prepared if they trade Jammal Brown this year or next.

  1. More smoke and mirrors…………….Payloo and Willy could draft Will Ferrel (Talledega Nites) and I would be excited !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. trade him to the eagles move peters to RT i doubt it tho cause justice is finally comin along

  3. I can’t believe Jammal Brown, whom the Saints don’t even need since they won a Super Bowl without him, actually balked at signing a $3 million plus one year deal. Does he really want to take the risk of ending up on a bad team?

  4. Rumor in D.C. is Jammal Brown for Rocky McIntosh and LaRon Landry.
Do you honestly think the Saints would want LaRon Landry after seeing him get abused by Robert Meachem and Marques Colston last season? LMAO!

  5. My confidence in Mickey Loomis is waning this year. Out of 5 draft selections so far, 3 have been offensive players. Ahem, the Saints need to improve their defense do they not? They let Navorro Bowman, Ricky Sapp, Art Jones, Everson Griffen, and Carlos Dunlap slide right by. In my humble opinion, the Saints need the LB DE and/or DT positions, not another Tight End or OT!
