Titans again say they won't be trading for Haynesworth

Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has been mentioned so many times on the page today, you’d think he’s been accused to sexual assault in Nevada and/or Georgia.

Instead, he remains the biggest name supposedly on the trading block.  The Redskins, as MDS recently pointed out, say he isn’t.  Now, Titans G.M. Mike Reinfeldt says that, if Haynesworth is traded, it won’t be back to the Titans, despite a report that he’ll return to Nashville in exchange for a third-round pick.

It’s a dead issue,” Reinfeldt said, per Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.  “It is not happening.  From our
perspective there is nothing [to the report] at all.  I have not talked
to the Redskins in a long time.”

We’ll believe Haynesworth won’t be traded when he isn’t traded.  For now, we suspect plenty of teams are in play, including the Vikings and (as we hear it) the Texans.

  1. So many stories about Haynesworth that you’d think he’d been accused “to” sexual assault?
You guys need to slow down a little. Seriously, there are typos and missing words in every other story lately.
That said, I love the jabs at Rapistberger in non-Rapistberger stories. Keep those coming 🙂

But if he did that, no one would say anything. According to Steeler fans, it’s not the serial raping that’s a problem for fans. It’s the jealousy.
And no one is jealous of Albert Haynesworth’s career. But he probably won’t get into that kind of trouble because, like most men, they don’t have to get a girl blackout drunk to get laid.

  3. The Texans? What! Would love to have him here in Houston! Wonder what we’d give up? 2nd round pick? I’d do it but I’m a nobody. I hope this comes true! Big boost to our d-line.

  4. A year ago Haynesworth was all the story as the top free agent, 100 million dollar man and now he can be had for as little as a 3rd rd draft pick…….almost unbelievable. Nobody wants the dude, LOL
