The Broncos surprisingly didn’t draft a player for their defensive front seven until the seventh round.
Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said he was comfortable with the veterans he had in the group, but apparently not comfortable enough to leave them alone.
Denver signed linebacker Akin Ayodele Saturday to a one-year contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
McDaniels also confirmed Saturday Mario Haggan has been moved to middle linebacker and noted the Broncos had exactly 96 players on their draft board, according to Lindsey Jones of the
Denver Post.
