Myron Rolle winds up in Tennessee

After months of debate regarding Rhodes Scholar Myron Rolle’s draft stock, the Tennessee Titans selected the Florida State safety with the last pick of the sixth round Saturday.

Many have suggested Rolle’s intelligence and outside interests worked against him. That may have been a factor on some boards, but we’re pretty sure questions about Rolle’s speed and coverage ability were more important.

If Rolle was a first-round talent, he would have been taken in the first round. Plenty of well known players coming off impressive seasons like Jonathan Dwyer, Dan LeFevour, Tony Pike, and Anthony Dixon fell to the sixth round. It happens.

The important part is what you do once you make it into the league.

We wish Rolle all the best in making 31 teams look silly, because he could be great for the NFL.
