The Bengals signed one overdrafted free agent on Sunday in former second-round pick Mike Nugent, but the veteran kicker has company on the transaction wire.
Cincinnati has signed eight undrafted free agent rookies, including former Louisville fullback Joe Tronzo, who announced the signing on his Facebook page. The only fullback currently on the Bengals roster is Fui Vakapuna, a 2009 seventh rounder, which could bode well for Tronzo this summer.
The other new Bengals, per the Cincinnati Enquirer, are safety Jeromy Miles, UMass; safety Bryan Evans, Georgia; running backs Mikell Simpson, Virginia; running back Cordera Eason, Mississippi; tight end Jeff Cottam, Tennessee; linebacker Vincent Rey, Duke and long snapper Mike Windt from the nearby University of Cincinnati.
