The Arizona Cardinals used a fifth-round pick to draft Fordham quarterback John Skelton. They’ll reportedly be adding another one via free agency.
According to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, BYU quarterback Max Hall will be signed to a contract soon. Like former Cardinals quarterback Jake Plummer, Hall once played at Arizona State, before transferring to Brigham Young.
Other players expected to join the team as undrafted free agents include Toledo receiver Stephen Williams, South Dakota State tackle Casey
Knips, Fresno State cornerback A.J. Jefferson, Tempe tackle Devin
Tyler, Idaho receiver Max Komar, and Kentucky running back Alfonso Smith.
The addition of Skelton and Hall could mean that Brian St. Pierre won’t be rejoining the team, after all. Unless, of course, the Cardinals are aspiring to match the Raiders with five quarterbacks under contract.

Speaking of qb’s you know who’s a good qb ?

None of the drafted players have signed a contract yet, Mike. Skelton doesn’t count against the 80-man roster until he signs. I still believe that you are right about St. Pierre though. Too many QB’s.
Casey Knips will make the final roster. He’s a huge OT and his only short coming is that he played for south dakota.
