Apparently you felt no need to actually check your facts or listen to the DA’s entire press conference in which he clarified the video issue. Wow, what a shock.
1. The security system is a motion-activated DVR (look it up) recording on a hard drive. When the hard drive is full, it overwrites. No one erased the system. It got full and overwrote, just as it is programmed to do.
2. NO cameras were in the VIP party area, the hallway, or the bathroom.
3. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation viewed the footage before the system overwrote. It showed only Roethlisberger’s party entering the club and the woman’s party entering sometime later.
4. The GBI could have downloaded the footage to disk to preserve it, but since it didn’t show anything useful, they didn’t bother.
5. You have the IQ of a cantaloupe.

My daughter is a student at GSU. The word over the entire campus is that the “victim” made this story up. The only thing she was forced to do that night was to report that she was raped by Ben R. Her sorority sisters forced her to give that statement because of the way Ben was acting that night. He was arrogant and that made the girls upset. The “victim” tryed to get out of making further statements, and even left school to get away from the sorority sisters. Then the ‘sisters” went to the police station and gave their own report. This was after they “huddled” at their sorority house that night to get their story straight. They are now admitting that the lied.
The media and NFL fan base are trashing Ben. They are accepting the story of drunk college girls as fact. If the media is interested in true reporting they would travel to the campus and interview the students down there. According to the students, during the investigation nobody was talking much. Since the case is closed, the truth is coming out. And the truth is that this story is a lie.
These lies ruined the lives of Ben R and the police officers that were serving as body gaurds.
Athletes do act as if they are entitled. But Ben acted no differently then a vast majority of pros who go out partying.

If you read the statement, you’d know that there are no cameras in the VIP area. Therefore, nothing else could have been acquired from the tapes. There may be absolutely no connection between the concussions and the behavior, but it is irresponsible to dismiss it as a potential cause without the neurological testing data.
I believe the punishment was entirely appropriate based upon information that has become publicly available, but people need to take more seriously the effects of multiple concussions on human health and behavior.

As a medical professional, it is true that concussions and brain injury can lead to modifications in a patients behavior. And the NFL is clearly culpable with it’s rush to return Star players back to action. However, this could be perceived as excuse making and blow up in Ben’s face if he uses this as an excuse. Furthermore, this could open up a bag of worms for the NFL.

If there is a Pandora’s Box, it’s that other players engage in a “Love Boat Scandal” lifestyle from time to time, not that Ben is irresistibly compelled rape (allegedly) due to concussions.
If there was neurological damage from concussions, one would expect that to show also in his reflexes and fine motor skills. Which one would expect to also show on the field.
