Former Jaguars defensive tackle John Henderson shouldn’t have trouble getting a job, and has already received interest from the Giants, according to the New York Daily News.
Still, they aren’t his most aggressive pursuers. Henderson will visit the Chiefs first, according to Newsday.
New York has a ton of defensive tackles on the roster after drafting Linval Joseph in the second round, but they may be trying to get rid of one. NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reported Monday that the Giants almost dealt Barry Cofield to the Saints during the draft for a second-day pick.
Big Blue’s defensive overhaul doesn’t appear done yet.
