Now that we know where the big-name rookies will be playing football to launch their NFL careers, fans can focus on important matters. Like plunking down money for jerseys bearing the new players’ names and numbers.
Our colleague Darren Rovell of CNBC has the list.
In Denver, the Tim Tebow jersey will be the cheapest one to acquire. All the fans need to do is buy a nameplate to cover up the name “Marshall” on their existing No. 15 jerseys.
Also, Rams quarterback Sam Bradford will wear No. 8, and Panthers quarterback Jimmy Clausen will don No. 2 in Carolina.
UPDATE: Several of you have pointed out that Tebow actually is wearing No. 10. Which means that Broncos fans can’t simply retrofit their Brandon Marshall jerseys, after all.
SECOND UPDATE: The Broncos tell us that Tebow will indeed wear No. 15, and that the shirt at his introductory press conference bore No. 10 because it was the 2010 draft.
