this is a steal for the Bears. That “20 tackle” game was actually 18, and it was against the Rams.
Fact is, the Bears lost 2 of their 3 starting LB’s for the season before halftime of Week 1, and Williams only started 3 games. He had an opportunity to step in and take a spot from Hunter Hillenmeyer and Nick Roach. Those guys aren’t exactly Butkus and Singletary.
I’ve been bitching about the lack of any presence in the secondary for 2 years and this move is way better than I figured they were capable of making.

a no name and no draft picks for chris harris?!? ridiculously bad trade for carolina. can’t believe they’re trading the hitman for a guy i’ve never heard of. by far the worst off-season move carolina has made this year….why in the freakin world would they send him back to chicago!!??

Why would they trade some guy who had 20 sacks in a game? He is a one man defense. 2 more sacks and he’d have the record for the season. If he has that kind of talent why was he riding the bench? With skills like that they should have traded Urlacher.
