Marshawn Lynch will stick in crowded backfield

The Bills may not have a quality starting quarterback or much of an offensive line, but they sure have a lot of running backs.

Marshawn Lynch wasn’t traded over draft weekend, and it looks like he won’t move anytime soon. G.M. Buddy Nix wouldn’t address whether he fielded calls about Lynch during the draft, but Seattle was reportedly interested.

“I’ve said time and time again, he’s ours, he’s here and we’d like for him to be here,” Nix said.

We don’t expect Lynch to get cut like other veterans that were available over the weekend. He’s cheap ($885,000 salary), young, and has produced in the past.

Lynch is also probably the No. 3 running back on his team behind Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. The team also signed talented undrafted free agent Joique Bell out of Wayne State.
