Sucks! He’s the best offensive tackle in the NFL right now. When the Redskins lost Samuels last year it was a big blow to our team. Hopefully he gets well fast.

That’s a huge blow to the Broncos after Clady was coming off of a Pro Bowl season and is the rock of the O-line. It’s a good thing they have Beadles to play the tackle position but I still think they should go after Flozell Adams or Jammal Brown.

I’d call the Saints and ask about Jammal Brown. With offensive tackles Bushrod, Stinchcomb, Strief & 2nd-round pick Charles Brown, something’s got to give. He won’t come cheap though.

if playing basketball was allowable in his contract, then no harm no foul in that regard
if he’s specifically not allowed to play any other sport, even a friendly game of basketball, then he could be looking at having to re-pay some of the bonus, if the injury is serious
i’m guessing it’s something not too serious and he’ll have plenty of time left still in the off season to rehab , he’s already had the surgery on it anyway

Wondering what type of baseketball game?
Pick up or team endorsed charity game?
We have 1-2 games here a year, where some of the Pats play a charity game against the fire or police dept.
just 2 weeks ago, the Patriots sent Gostkowski, and Edelman to play.
There would be big ramifications if either of those guys got hurt.

Still, and I am gonna sound irrational here, but: we’ll survive. He had a TON of penalties last year that we couldn’t surmount with our anemic offense. Now maybe we will stay in first/10 than first/15-20.
