Kenny Britt admits he’s out of shape

The Titans haven’t had a truly dominant No. 1 receiver since, well, they were the Oilers.

Anyone that watched Kenny Britt’s eye-opening rookie season knows that streak has potential to end. Now he just has to show he wants it.

Britt admitted Thursday to the Tennessean that he’s not in the greatest shape right now. Titans coach Jeff Fisher held him out of OTA work, hoping to avoid a hamstring pull.

Being out of shape in April isn’t a huge concern, but Fisher has sounded the alarm publicly on Britt’s commitment and offseason attendance a few times this Spring. The second-year player was also in the news a few times in January.

We get the feeling the Titans know they have a good one, but worry about keeping him on the straight and narrow.

Yep, sounds like a typical No. 1 receiver.
