MV is 2-2 in playoff games, never progressing past the 2nd round. No one knew it at the time but the GB win was just the start of a string of disappointing, poor playoff performances by Farve.
MV never threw for over 20 TD’s in a season.

OH yeah, he’s a GREAT QB. If he was as good behind center as he is at serial torture & murder of sick animals, he’d be the best of all time. As a human being, he is a defective, soulless POS. On the field he’s another failed project @ QB, a carnival act, a gimmick at best.

Ryan has handled himself with complete class, like someone you would want to be the face of your franchise, he took his team to the playoffs in his ROOKIE year.
Vick was always a disgrace, first chaning his name to Ron Mexico & infecting unsuspecting black women with VD (thats ok right? According to you, Vick has never done anything wrong, he’s a model citizen. Ask the Sisters he infected with VD if they feel the same way). Next MV is taking sick & hurt animals & elecrocuting them & setting them on fire (again he did nothing wrong according to you – serial animal torture & killing is ok behavior). Next he fails drug tests (again OK huh? – why should your hero stay straight, he’s the savior!).
In SIX years on the field, Vick was:
38-28-1
38 TD’s – 28 int’s
Playoff record: 2-2
Ryan in TWO years:
20-10
38 TD’s – 25 int’s
Playoff record 0-1
Ryan has already passed for as many TD’s in 2 years as Vick did in SIX years.
Vick is on a team that couldn’t wait to jettison their starting QB but still isn’t starting him, Reid knows he’s a carnival act, a joke of a QB, a gimmick play is all he is.
Shall I go on? Bottom line is it goes both ways, you are a complete mental defective with the things you post. Anyone with NFL knowledge knows your words are full of racist hate for ALL white QB’s, your handle’s here also make that obvious.

Here’s to hoping the Philly fans are patient with Kolb. Ultimately he’s going to be good but he may need a full season under his belt at starter before he actually shows why Reid has been so high on him. The real question is, with the success the Eagles have had in the last 10 years, will he be shown patience when he hits a rough stretch? If the Eagles go through a 2-3 game losing streak will the fans stick with him? Will the fans start calling for the animal killing carnival act? Kolb will really have to stink up the Linc to get benched, Reid will not do that quickly. Kolb is going to get a lot of rope before it gets yanked.

its fine if you have no faith in Kolb, predict his crashing and burning all you want. But please dont put words in our mouth. We WILL not be chanting for Vick any time this season or ever. He was a novelty and the Eagles got caught with their pants down thinking he’d have trade value; he doesn’t. And no matter how you feel on D-McNice, he was good, and still is, this is true. But he was a whiner who came up small on big stages. We’re done with him here, and if he wins elsewhere, so be it. Its like a gf, if you’re done with her, you’re done. Sure it hurts to see her bangin your cousin, and your friends might not understand why you got rid of her in the first place, but they never had to put up with her friends (WILMAAAAAA). After the 5th game in a row of worm-burners hitting wide open receivers in the feet, Washington will be looking around for the receipt. Just because you have no faith in Kolb doesn’t mean everyone in Philly will become as clueless about football and the Eagles as you apparently are. For a team that seemingly everyone hates, they get the most comments on this blog BY FAR. Interesting.

C’mon. Even good backups make 2-3 mill a year. THis is not a big deal and like it or not, they have to SHOW him they really believe in him. So what’s $6M for only two years? He was already averaging a mill from his draft slot. If he sucks, you pay him his money and keep him as a backup until 2012. Either way the Eagles would need to replace McNabb by then so you take the chance on what you know and you give him a whole offseason to take the reps, etc…Nice deal. Give it a shot. The Eagles are rebuilding anyway with young talent like Jackson and McCoy.

so far he has throw i think 3 pick 6′s inshort career but and after 2 -300 yard games against 2 teams,one they were behind and had to throw and the chiefs are a pop warner team. i can’t believe the love affair i hear in philly with kolb like he is the second coming of joe montana …this kid may end up being the second coming of andre ware or david klingler. the front office says he’s good..of course they do they traded down out of the first round( as always to save the signing bonus money as usual) and he was clearly a reach in the second round.he has better weapons that mcnabb ever had but he is slightly less mobile than a cigar store indian behind that week line that howie(H&R BLOCK) roseman saw no need to address in the draft nor a cornerback that they could have used a few for a starter and depth. i cant stand those 3 little wiener heads hyman roseman,jeffry lurie and joe “nickels ” banner the 3 stooges will never ever win a super bowl !!!!

I agree! Most people get accustomed to a persons Name and associating them to be a “Good” Football player. My Favorite Eagle of all time, Brian Dawkins, Once said, “Every year, I have to go out there and prove that I am the starter. Every year I have to compete for my Job, Its never guaranteed.” I was sad to see Dawkins go because of that mentality. I was not that sad to see McNabb go because frankly I think he left his best football back in 2006.

I am happy that McNabb was traded and that Kolb is the starting QB. He was at a contractual point where the team got the best trade value. Who’s to say that Kolb won’t be successful? Teams threw their draft QB’s into action (i.e. Ryan, Flaco) so give the guy a chance. I believe for Kolb to be successful they will have balance with the offense, which in essence could have benefited McNabb too.

First of all Kolb hasnt played a meaningful game. The only team he beat had 5 wins last year so dont start patting him on the back yet. I think the Eagles screwed the pooch on this one. The one thing the Eagles did right with him was let him sit for three years. The problem is they dont have a running game to fall back on. Eagles wont make the playoffs and will be battling with the skins to stay out of the NFC Beast basement.

Its funny listening to all of the doubters out there bashing Kolb. Do you really think that AR and JB would lay their hats on the line on this guy if he was going to be a Bust? Most people whose job it is to analyze football say this guy will be great. Mostly because they see that this guy does not joke around, He is accurate, he gets the ball out quickly and can make every throw on the field. AR has even said that Kolb has picked up the offense better then McNabb did his first 3 years. I do not see us losing a step with Kolb. McNabb played horrible football last year. He was not at all serious about winning. All he did was smile, joke around, play air guitar, How many times did you see McNabb “Pump Up” the Team?
McNabb was the guy that said, “its all about going out there to have some fun and playing football”.
Kolb is the guy that is saying, “its all about going out there and winning this football game”
