The move isn’t good news for long snapper Patrick McDonald, whose arrival presumably greased the skids for Overton’s exit.
The Seahawks also announced on Wednesday that safety Quinton Teal has agreed to terms; also, cornerback DeAngelo Willingham and punter Tom Malone have been cut.
