Seahawks president denies he's candidate for NHL job again

For some reason, the reports out of Canada that Seahawks CEO could leave the team for the Tampa Bay Lightning won’t go away.

Florio mentioned that Tod Leiweke wasn’t a candidate when the story first came up a few weeks back, and the Seahawks said through a spokesman again Leiweke won’t move to the NHL after another report came out that “details were being finalized” on a deal.

The Seahawks were aggressive dismissing the report, so there’s no reason not to believe them.  There’s also not much reason to think Leiweke would leave a gig running three franchises (The Seahawks, Trail Blazers, and Seattle Sounders) to run a hockey team.

Just like when Wayne Weaver aggressively dismisses the notion that he’s trying to sell the Jaguars yet Florio and the rest of you goons never believe him?
Funny how hypocritical you guys are.
I guess you only believe some owners when they speak. Weaver has denied denied denied, yet you guys continue to speculate.
    Florio, YOU STINK!
And Rosenthal, YOU STINK for working with Florio!
