Agreed here, too. I remember it like it was yesterday. That play was THE pivotal moment in that game, IMO. To beat a team by double digits twice and then lose to them at home in the playoffs, only to see them go on and win it all, that still pisses me off.
As for the issue at hand, I wouldn’t mind letting Crayton go. He’s a decent, solid player, but he sure seems to flap his gums a lot for a guy who’s nothing special. And, again, I will never forgive his ass for that drop!!!

I’d want him on the 49ers if we weren’t already packed full of WRs. He’s a talented guy but unless Dez or someone else has an awful year he is easily the least talented of the group. I don’t think Dallas is falling apart or anything like that, they have always done things like this. If they lose a lot of games then maybe there will be some real locker room issues but as long as they win no one will be complaining once the season starts.

I think that Patrick now regrets not following the Tuna to Miami. I hope they get rid of Williams soon because they made a big mistake getting him in the first place and they’ve made an even bigger one keeping him around. What JJ signed him for has to have Austin’s agent salivating and it will have repercussions if he can’t convince Austin to sign for less than he’s worth.

Crayton will do nicely in Miami or KC, where the coaching staff knows him to to extent.
He’s fairly dependable but just not physically gifted like the others in that locker room…including undrafted FA Ogletree.
I’m sure Romo would want him to stick around though. Besides Witten, Crayton probably has the most mileage with Romo.

Hey Ted Thompson, go get’em. This solves finding Driver’s replacement and gives you another guy to look at for a kick/punt returner.
Why would TT want some other teams cast-off WR??? Crayton was the 3rd WR on a team with 1 WR (Austin) and now he’s the 4th WR on a team with 2 WR’s (Austin – Bryant).
I’d rather have 1 of the High School kids Favre throws to every summer than Crayton.
