The record-breaking floods in Tennessee have impacted the Titans, like so many other residents in Nashville.
The MetroCenter area of Nashville, where the Titans facility is located, was evacuated according to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.
The team provided some photos to show how high the lake water was outside Baptist Sports Park on Sunday. The area took more than two feet of water in two days, but the rain has stopped.
LP Field, in another part of town from the team facility, is also in harm’s way as this jarring picture shows.
The Tennessean has an intriguing story of a staff photographer helping to rescue former Vanderbilt football Coach George MacIntyre.
We hope that the river waters begin to recede Monday and that everyone in the area can start the recovery process. Eleven people have died as a result of the flooding.
