Dolphins guard Justin Smiley has been in limbo this offseason.
There have been reports he would be traded or released, but he remains with Miami. In an effort to resolve the situation, Smiley has hired agent Drew Rosenhaus.
There have been reports recently that the Dolphins are not confident in the health of Smiley’s shoulder. The Miami Herald writes the Dolphins know Smiley’s shoulder “is shot.” A source close to Smiley says his shoulder feels great and he’s “ready to play.” Due $2.9 million this season, Smiley is expected to be a backup if he stays in Miami.
That scenario is looking less likely by the day.
UPDATE: Rosenhaus says Smiley is “open to a trade, release or coming back to the Dolphins.” They want the situation resolved so he can get to work with OTAs and workouts picking up.

Does anybody ever dump Drew Rosenhaus and hire somebody ELSE?
Looks like Justin Smiley is now Justin Sad Face
Justin Smiley just re-signed 3 year $9,999,999,000.01 extension.
Hey Florio, I’m asking in this post because it’s the most recent…..did LaVar Arrington ever respond to Portis?
Drew Rosenhaus is the Don King of the NFL
If the Dolphins REALLY believe that his shoulder is shot that why would they not release/trade him already? Something sounds fishy
Rosenhaus: “Okay, first off, if you’re going to get a new contract, we gotta get rid of that wimpy last name. From now on, you’ll be referred to as ‘Justin Frowney’. Or do you like ‘Justin Growley’?”

SECONDLY – Tell me word for word anything Jeff Ireland may have said to you about your mother?
They’re not releasing him because he holds all of their secrets and plans to their wildcat packages. As well as the ones they didn’t use once Ronnie went down too.
@wock: LOL
I do not like how the front office is treating players these days.
