Vince Young isn’t quite as bad. But he’s working to improve.
Young completed only 46.6 percent of his passes to the left sideline last year. His mechanics got sloppy on throws across his body, and he missed some open receivers.
“Sometimes I let my hips open up too much and I kind of fling the ball instead of being more balanced and having a good base and good frame in making a better throw to the left,” described Young. “So that is one of the main things I am working on, keeping the ball higher and not getting too relaxed.
