No need to throw mud. Sure, by leaving the Cowgirls, he may sacrifice a couple undeserved Pro Bowl appearances and the opportunity to flame in the playoffs, but the likelihood of jail time or STDs has gone down to near zero. Hail!

Carpenter was misused in Dallas IMO. He’s not a classic middle LB, he plays best at the weakside.
BTW, get used to OSU being at least in the top 5 again this year.

Vernon Gholston didn’t play LB at OSU, he played DE. I will give you Andy Katzenmoyer and Bobbie Carpenter, but AJ Hawk & James Laurinaitis are solid pros. You can’t define an NFL position based off of what college a player goes to. A great example would be Kyle Boller and Aaron Rodgers both being Cal QB’s. Boller is the epitomy of 1st round QB bust, but Rodgers made every team that passed him up in the 1st round look foolish. Mike Vrabel, Chris Spielman, and Tom Cousineau must all suck too, huh?

I’m pretty sure the Cowboys know how to use linebackers. You can ask Donovan McNabb about that. Barbie’s problem is he’s afraid to be physical. That’s not a coaching thing. It’s a courage thing.
Maybe the Packers will cut AJ Hawk so the Rams can get him, too.

He can tackle ok just not while shedding 300+ lb guards, he was obviously out of position in Dallas and has more upside than Barron.
