Bucs continue front office changes as Kokinis’ name surfaces

Doug Williams departed the Bucs front office early in the week, and pro personnel assistant Victor Green was next to go on Thursday.

So who is coming aboard to help G.M. Mark Dominik?

Pewter Report sources believe former Browns G.M. George Kokinis is a candidate to replace Williams. Dominik would not comment on Kokinis, who many thought would wind up back in Baltimore.

Meanwhile, Redskins G.M. Bruce Allen spoke briefly Wednesday about Williams possibly working for him again.

“I talked to Doug today,” Allen said. “We shared some fun stories and he told me what transpired [in Tampa Bay], but I’ll leave that between us. We’ll see [about Williams joining the Redskins.] He’s got some plans.”
