It’s nice to have a positive attitude, specially when you know it doesn’t matter how bad you play your not going to get cut because your getting paid to much money. It’s pretty bad that a wideout who is better than you (patrick crayton) is getting run out of town because of your overpriced salary, and you have the nervous to mention you and jerry rice in the same statement. If Patrick would stay and fight for the job, you would be out of a job because you dam sure not going to beat out Dez, he’s a bigger and stronger version of Randy Moss just not as fast.

I have been thinking a lot about if Dez Bryant will be a bust. I think he will be, but I don’t think it is his fault. Dez Bryant will probably have a solid career as a solid WR. I don’t see the next Jerry Rice, or Randy Moss in him, but I see a (hopefully a more silent) Chad Ochosinco. He will have his big years and his down years. But I think there is an unfair amount of hype around him. People are saying he is going to be this great player and if he ends up being pretty good, people will be disapointed. Its like Reggie Bush. Anyone with half an NFL brain could see he wasn’t going to be anything special in the NFL. But he is a great role player. He is still labeled a bust because he wasn’t the next great RB. Cowboy fans need to back off their expectations of him and just hope that he is a nice player to go along with an already solid core of WRs.

How bout I shine your shoes with your tears when you realize the guy you drafted produces as little as the guy who claims to be Jerry Rice.
Stop stargazing and realize that his “work ethic” caused him to fall to the bottom of the round to begin with. He wasn’t even the first wr taken from his team.
He “speaks well”? Really? Please educate us on how that will translate to football success. Maybe the gang of misfits that you seemingly rule with your “football knowledge” are the ones that judge Bryant on his “crack head whore” of a mom, but the rest of us just realize that he hasn’t proven a thing yet. He had the exact same description coming out of college that Roy “Rice” Williams had. How’d that turn out?
So what’s next from you? Bryant just bought a Prius, so that means he’s going to the Pro Bowl?

I think the one thing that Dez Bryant has that is going to make him a great football player is his combination of work ethic (at least since he has been in Dallas) and his character. A lot of people are judging this guy based off of his crack head whore of a mom. He speaks well and is handling this new fame very well. I am optimistic that the combination of skill and character will help him be elite. However, I could be wrong and can admit that, but I will be optimistic for now until proven otherwise.

Fact of the matter is RW has done nothing in Dallas. Autin has worked harder and produced which is why he’s the #1 WR. I have a problem with that b/c he’s supposed to be a professional who’s current team gave up a lot to get him…and now is only motivated b/c of Dez? Romo needs to step up a little and tell RW to shut up and catch….period. Good news is Dez has been working real hard and hasn’t said too much other then he’s appreciating the opportunity to try help the team. With that said the rookie sounds like a pro and the pro sounds like a rookie. I think RW is desperate, immature with minimal margin for error. Not good for RW.

Sharp into patterns, stays low on exit and immediately positions himself to make the reception. Shields defenders from the action with his large frame and protects the pass, quickly transitioning up the field after the reception. Extends his hands, offers the quarterback a nice target and comes down with the ball in a crowd. Tough to cover and easily separates from opponents. Picks up positive yardage running with the ball and is both elusive and strong. Makes the reception in stride running laterally, has excellent deep speed yet controls the game as a possession receiver in the underneath coverage. Also intelligent and knows where the chains are on third down. Effective blocker when focused on the task at hand.
Now lets see what they thought of your boy Dez:
Positives: Physically gifted pass catcher who takes over games or breaks them open. Quickly releases off the line into pass routes, comes back to the ball out of breaks and extends to make the reception away from his frame. Immediately transitions from making the reception to running after the catch, displays a burst of speed, and can stretch the field. Displays terrific eye/hand coordination, makes the difficult over-the- shoulder reception and battles hard to come away with the ball. Comes across the middle and uses his frame to shield away opponents. Easily makes the reception in stride and can turn it on and one quick step. Sells routes, uses his hands to get separation from defenders, and is a tough receiver who takes a pounding yet holds onto the throw.

The only thing you are right about is Roy Williams sucks. Who exactly is “everyone” that thinks Tebow is the shiz??? Certainly not this guy so don’t put words in my mouth little lady. How many other people had “all the tools” to be a good NFL player and sucked royally? All I’m saying Miss is let the guy play before you go touting his greatness. He very well may turn out to be a great player…….or he could suck tremendously. There were obviously 20 odd teams who feel about like I do; and one blowhard spouting how he’s going to be the greatest thing EVER!! Do a little more research azzwhipe…..Bryant was doing the same thing against Jenkins and Newman yesterday right out of the gates!! Oh and I promise you they’re making the team….and they have a good chance to both make the Pro Bowl again this upcoming season…two quality corners at least that were getting beat by Dez!!! As for Roy…he wouldn’t even put up similar #’s to Rice even if he was as talented because of the amount of weapons we have!!! He appears to be in shape and motivate and that, my friend, is trouble for the rest of the league!!!!
