Well, it’s apparently settled. After weeks of being a man with a team but without a number, Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall now appears on the roster with the number most recently worn by a guy who would have dropped the “1” and the “9” if they weren’t stitched to his jersey.
Marshall will wear No. 19, Ted Ginn’s old number.
The former Bronco prefers No. 15, but Davone Bess won’t give it up. And since Bess isn’t likely to be cut or traded, it’s unlikely that Marshall will be inheriting No. 15.
Especially after the 19 jerseys start to sell.
Meanwhile, maybe the woman in Denver who is turning old Marshal jerseys into Tebows will open a location in Miami for turning Ginns into Marshalls.
